Production area
The grapes that go into this wine grow in Monzambano, in the hills just a few kilometres south of Lake Garda.
Grape variety
45% Cabernet, 45% Merlot e 10% Corvina
Harvest and vinification
After the harvest in the first week of October, the grapes are dried at a controlled temperature and humidity. Ten to twelve days of maceration are followed by light pressing and fermentation. The wine is aged in barrels for two years.
Tasting notes
With an intense red colour, it has notes of spices, leather, and tobacco on the nose. On the palate it is elegant, rich, and full-bodied, with rounded, velvety, ripe tannins.
